It is not possible to draw an electron-flow arrow to point to an incipient bond between an atom and a shortcut group. See first figure. I can draw the electron-flow arrow to point directly to a shortcut group (see second figure), but I want both options.
Sorry about the late answer. We are working on the fix of the explained bug. If it helps you, there is a workaround for your problem right now. Ungroup the Me, than you can add the desired electron-flow! After all you can simply replace CH3 by Me. Not nice, but it works.
Thanks. It's not so much the Me group that I am worried about, but other groups such as Et. And I'm not as worried about this bug as the one that prevents the MRV from being created (and throws an error) when an electron-flow arrow starts at a shortcut group.
Only on the ChemAxon forum would a four-day delay be considered a late reply. xxoo
