Dear reader,

After updating to Knime 2.8.1 I have problems installing the InfoCom JChem extensions.
I manually added the InfoCom update site to the Available Software Site in Knime. No problem so far. Upon pressing the 'Reload' button I get the following error instead of the password pop up I previously got in for example Knime 2.7:

Unable to read repository at https://www.infocom.co.jp/bio/knime/update/2.6/content.xml.

Unable to read repository at https://www.infocom.co.jp/bio/knime/update/2.6/content.xml.

No password provided.

I am running Mac OS X 10.8.4, with Java Version 7 Update 25 (build 1.7.0_25-b15).

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

 Regards,

Sander Nabuurs.

Dear Sander Nabuurs,

I'm sorry for the inconvenience I've caused you and I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner.

Could you please confirm the following information?

“File > Preferences” menu.
“General > Security > Secure Storage” category.

I think that you could find the saved password in “Contents tab > [Default Secure Storage] > org.eclipse.equinox.p2.repository > www.infocom.co.jp”.
Could you please delete this information and try to install again?

We apologize for the trouble and thank you for your patience.

Best regards,
Taka
