scaling JChem REST server

Hi all,

I have installed Jchem on a server and I am running search operations combined with a number of other calculations. Now, I would like to speed up the process and increase the performance, because I have to deal with a large number of molecules here. Is it possible to use more than one instances of the Jchem on the same server? Is there a specific route to follow?

Hi Yannick,

It is currently not possible to deploy more than one instance of the web services on a single machine. The application tries to utilize as many cpu cores as possible so maybe you can gain some performance if you can increase the number of cores. We will investigate this further for possible solutions of multiple deploys.
