Using JChem for Excel 5.3.8, we see the error message
"columnIndex should be between 1 and 256
Parameter name: colimnindex"
for one particular file (other SD files import fine)
any ideas?

Hi Karen,
it could be that some column index validation was left over checking the Excel 2003 limits. We will have a look in the newer version, and fix it if it is still there.
