JCMass function gives the same value as JCExactMass

Hi,

I am working with version 5.3.2.1900 of JChem for Excel and I have found that when I use the JCMass function it gives me the same weight as I get when using the JCExactMass function. I checked this also using JCChemicalTerms("mass") and JCChemicalTerms("exactmass") and in MarvinSketch 5.3.3 - see attached screen shots where the mass calculation and exact mass calaculations give different values. Could you help with this?

Hi Bob,

thanks for reporting. Indeed the JCMass formula calculated the exact mass inside. We will fix this for release 5.3.4, or an earlier patch release.
