No formula recalculation during sort required

Hi,

I usually work with the SortFilter or Advanced Filter or AutoFilter in EXCEL (2003/2007). Using  a sheet with 100 cols x 10000 rows the sorting process is very slow if all values are always recalculated. Would it be possible to turn that off, because its not needed. Not sure if this already implemented. I am using v1.1.2

Hi,

unfortunately this is the default behaviour of Excel. When it does sorting, the cell contents are actually changing, so it recalculates.

We could speed it up by caching the calculation results in the future. This will probably not fit into 1.2, but we will try to put it in 1.3.
