Dear Zhaowen,
We could not reproduce this copy-paste issue. Please describe your environment (Windows and Office version with bit version info) and we will check that. Until then, please try to install the latest JChem for Office release (15.11.1600).

it is office 2013/365. Mostly it is happened in Outlook and for the first copy/paste action. The subsequent operations are always fine. Basically, you create or reply a message, then copy something from anywhere, then Ctrl-V, Outlook will hang for a while, and paste contents hundred times. In rare occasion, also happened in PowerPoint, but I cannot catch the exact step. No issue when using menu/context menu for paste action.
Thanks.
Zhaowen

Please try to turn off the Ctrl-C/Ctrl-V event handling: Options -> Event Handling -> Keyboard Events: set to False. Does it solve your problem? Of course, it is just a temporary solution but I would like to know how do the applications work in this case.
Anyway, we haven't been able to reproduce this bug yet. What is your Windows version (with bit version) and what is your Office bit version. We would like set up an exactly the same environment to test this issue. Please give us these parameters.
Maybe a screen share meeting would be helpful.

It is Windows 7 and Office 2013. I tested in two machines, one is 32-bit Windows 7 and the other is 64-bit windows, both have problem with paste. The problem only happens for the first paste action.

Hi Zhaowen,
Thanks a lot for the tests, the Office versions are the most important for us, could you, please check if it was Office 32-bit or 64-bit? Eg. you can check this in Excel: File/Account/About Microsoft Excel button.
Thank you,
Anna

Actually both.
I observed the problems mostly in Outlook. Create a new message, then copy a word, try to paste into the new message window, not always, but quite often, the pasting action will go on hundred times.
The problem in PowerPoint is that plain text will pasted into a separate text box, if I turn off the event handle of JChem, everything will be fine in both cases.
Thanks,
Zhaowen
I can definitely share my desktop for you to analyze the problem.

Hi Zhaowen,
Thank you for sharing the details, we could reproduce both issues. The first one is very close to be fixed, and we are working on the second issue as well. We will inform you if it will be released (hopefully in the upcoming one).

Hi Zhaowen,
The "pasting hundred times" issue should have been fixed in version 15.11.3000, please try it.
We are still working on the "PowerPoint text pasted in a separated text box" issue.
Thank you,
Akos
