JChem Office -- Word Takes Long Time to Exit

Hi,

I have installed JChem for Office 15.6.1500.  Since then, I have noticed that Word 2013 launches normally, but when closing Word, it takes about 25 seconds to exit. When I disable JChem for Word in the Word Options, Word then exits quickly. Is there a solution to this problem, perhaps in a new release of JChem for Office?

I am running Windows 8.1 64-bit, MS Office 2013 32-bit, and JChem for Office 15.6.1500 32-bit.

Hi Rudy,

I managed to reproduce it, but it does not always happen: It seems to be related to the background loading of MarvinSketch; if it is not finished yet when you want to exit Word, then it takes long. But if you click on Add and then close the editor, or if you wait longer after the start of Word and do any other JChem for Word actions (e.g. open the Options dialog), then Word will exit quickly.

We will check if we can somehow help Word to close the background loading track quickly.
