Hi, I've downloaded JChem for Excel and installed it. I've also added the JCFunctions.xla file to my add-ins, yet when I open Excel 2013 the JChem ribbon doesn't appear. The attached screenshots show the add-ins pane & automation window.

You need to add JChemExcel ExcelAddin, and JChemExcel Function from the COM addins ...

and how do I do that? I've gone to "go" and selected JCFunctions.xla through it.

Please inform us about:
- Your Windows version and its bit version (32-bit or 64-bit)
- Your MS Office version number (2003/2007/2010/2013) and its bit-version (32-bit or 64-bit)
- The filename of the installer you used for the installation of JChem for Office.

Hi,
According to the log file it looks like you tried to install 2 different versions of JChem for Office (15.4.600 and 15.4.2000). So, this means you experienced the same issue with 2 different versions? Did you uninstall the previous one before installing the new?
Is there any JCFunctions.xla in your c:\Program Files\ChemAxon\JChem for Excel folder as the error message says?
Do you have any other Excel Add Ins installed? Eg ISIS, ChemDraw? These can also be loaded and this way JChem for Excel ribbon will not be available.

How do I uninstall previous versions of JChem for Office? Do I need to install JChem for Excel separately too or is just JChem for Office sufficient to install it too?

You can find this info in the JChem for Office User's Guide:

This is mentioned at the end of the page, in "Uninstall and upgrade" section.
Please, check also if a separate JChem for Excel installer has been run before, in this cas, eg.
"ChemAxon JChem for Excel 15.4.2700.2584"
is listed in Control Panel/Programs and Features dialog. This also has to be uninstalled.
If there are other ChemAxon products installed on your computer, please make sure, that they all have the same version number (eg. IJC, JCXL, Marvin, etc) after installation.
