Hi
The Jchem for excel addin is listed as an incative appliaction and it will not be activated through the "manage option".
I use Windows 7, 64-bit operating system and have installed JChem_For_Office_6.3.0.1036.x64.
(I have also tried the admin versions and the stand alone JChem for excel, and it is the same problem).
Any suggestion for making this work?

Hi Fredrik,
we have encountered a problem with the our releases even with the 6.2 release line (not only with the 6.3),
the Windows update and a bug caused a similar issue, the Excel stay in the disabled admins because of closing issues.
Next time no vain you reenable the aaddin because of the close crash it goes into the disabled items.
Please download this new version (Development) from the site and test if it resolves the issue:
https://www.chemaxon.com/download.php?d=/data/download/jchem4xl/Development/JChem_For_Excel_6.3.1.1789.x86.msi
Please uninstall the previous version and try to reenable the JChem addin afterwards.
And then please install the the 6.3.1 using the link above.
Thank you,
Viktor

Similar issue with JChem for Excel that is not loading into Excel.
PC is running Windows 7 professionel, 64bits and I have installed the last version (14.8.1100.593.x64). The Jchem for excel COM addin is listed as an inactive application and it will not be activated.
I have also tried to install one of the old build that were recommended on this thread (6.3.1.1796.x64) but to no success. Any suggestion?

Viktor,
Sorry for that. I was running Office 2010 (along with 2013 for a few weeks and by mistake). JChem for Excel was working only in Office 10. I rolled back to only Office 2010 (uninstalled 2013) which seems to be causing the issue
Thanks,
Michael

Michael,
the basic problem for you then it seems that you have installed a 64 bit version of our plugins but you were using 32 bit version of Office?

Hi Anna,
which version of JChem for Excel you have installed?
Can we have a screen share session to take a look at your machine?
