no JChem tab or ribbon in Excel 2013 32bit

Dear JChem Team,

Working on a win 7 64 bit, with Office 2013 32 bit, machine.

I have installed the JC4XL 6.2.2 and Mervin Beans 6.2.2 but do not get the JChem tab.

The functions are there and I can get a structure from a name with a bit of tweaking. At first I got a Value! error in the cell, but then formatted the column with Convert/Convert from text/Name or CAS number. Now all columns work fine showing structures.

How can I get the JChem tab and ribbon working?

Office 2013 support I think is not perfect in the 6.2.2. However if you run it on Windows7 it should be working.

Please make sure that all Windows updates are fixed on your operating system  especially focusing on DirectX versions and support.

Ms. Office got DirectX dependent recently.

In our 6.3.0 you will get better Excel 2013 support even on WIndows8 platform.

 

 

Also please make sure that you are not seeing our JChemExcel.COMShim addin among the Disabled items in the Options/Addins sumenu.

Please try to reenable it and please make sure when reenabling it there should not be any JC4Xl document opened.

Thank you for the quick response. The JChemExcel.COMShim  was disabled, I enabled it and the JChem tab is now visible.
