could not attach editor to task pane

Hi,

Please do you know how can I get rid of the error message found we I click on editor to see the structure.Do you know how can I convert automatically the structures names to structures in the cells of the excel files without using the editor.

As for the error message:

Which version of Microsoft Excel and which version of JChemExcel do you use?

Did you try reinstalling JChemExcel?

Could you send us the log files? (http://www.chemaxon.com/jchem4excel/adminguide/logging.html)

(alternatively, you can use the Add/Edit button on the ribbon for editing a structure)

 

Name conversion:

you can use the right-click context menu:

- select the strucures on the sheet to convert

- right click, Convert.../Convert From Text (or, Convert To Text), then choose the appropriate format.

This is the zipped file attached.

Please make sure, the active cell on the sheet is empty before you press the "Editor Pane' button.

(Press del, on the active cell before pressing the 'Editor Pane' button, or navigate to a cell, that absolutely sure it's empty.)

Hi,I tried what you advised me to do but I still have the same problem. It work perfectely with windows 7 but not with windows xp.
