hi all,

I am using chemaxon IUPAC name generator to study biological molecules. I would like to name acyl-Coa dérivatives without full detail of the Co-enzyme A structure.

For example, methylpropanoyl-Coa instead of

Does anyone knows a simple solution for this problem ?

Thank you

Hi Guillaume,

The naming of CoA is not supported yet. I'm opening a task for it.

Until then, you should be able to get the names you want by removing the CoA and replacing it with a radical. This is of course not so practical, only a workaround.

Do you typically have the CoA group expanded, or as a "superatom" group? Could you attach an example structure in mrv/mol/sd format?

Best regards,
