Strange names for sulfonamides

Hi,

I'm using the IUPAC naming plugin, and am seeing strange names for some sulfonamide compounds.  An example would be:

OCCNS(=O)(=O)c1ccccc1

which is named as

2-hydroxy-S-phenylethane-1-sulfonamido

This looks wrong to me - names shouldn't end in "amido".  Marvin won't import from this, and neither will OPSIN convert it back to a structure.  Would someone be able to look into this please?

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Daniel,

Just wondering if you've made any progress with this yet?

All the best,

Paul

Hi Paul!

We identified and fixed the issue just today in our code base. The fix should be released next week, in version 15.10.26.

In your example, the name becomes as expected: N-(2-hydroxyethyl)benzenesulfonamide.

Best regards,

Daniel

That's great, Daniel - thanks very much.  I look forward to testing it next week!

Kind regards,

I've just tested the latest version and it works perfectly, thanks.

I've come across another type of error, but I will start a new thread!

Thanks,

Paul
