Anyone can help me in changing the order of sequence of Sequential enumeration in Markush emuneration?

I want the following order

R1=0, R2=0, R3=0

R1=1, R2=0, R3=0

R1=2, R2=0, R3=0

R1=3, R2=0, R3=0 and so on…

But the enumeration resulted in

R1=0, R2=0, R3=0

R1=0, R2=1, R3=0

R1=0, R2=2, R3=0

R1=0, R2=3, R3=0 and so on…

Thanks in advance for your response.

Hi,

Enumeration is based on atom indexes in the scaffold. Check the atom numbering in Marvin using View/Misc/Atom numbers. I suggest to remove the R-atoms and redraw them in the order you would like to enumerate them. (Draw R1 first, then R2 and R3 last.)

Alternatively, you can do enumeration of only one feature by selecting that atom. (Select R1 first, do enumeration, then select R2 in the resulting Markush structures, etc.) But this latter would involve lots of manual work.

HTH,
