license error

Dear support,





I installed the new developper license I received, using Chemaxon license manager.


And then I try to test jchem 5.0 (for the moment) using TautomerizationPlugin API. But I have the following error message.

I had a look into the cxl file and we have the license for Isomers Plugin Group





Have you got any idea of what could happen?

it seems that the license file we have sent you contains a restricitve field by chance, that prevents you from using it.





We will send you a new license file as soon as possible.

When I tried to use cxcalc I got the following error message. I copied the license file from the email titled Academic Package for research dated March 19th 2008 an put it in the directory .chemaxon as instructed. I would be very grateful if you could advise me as to how I can solve the problem.

Since version 5.0 (early 2008) we have introduced a new license management system based on a license file (.cxl) as against the license key (alphanumeric string) we used before. The license key operated in an ongoing fashion - if you had the key installed, the functionality worked without any expiry date. To help changeover the new license system continued support for the old license key until October 1st of this year.





To enable all functionality (since you are academic package user) you should revisit your academic package license (instructions below), to request a new license.





When re-submitting, please do add ChemAxon cited references to your application (for those only using for research you need add citations to extend beyond the free 2 year period). If all well - I will send an email with the link to the license file, the link also has help to install. For guidance on citing ChemAxon see here.
