Dear Customers, Partners,
Time has come at ChemAxon to get on a new and more sophisticated, modern level of licensing our tools to you. With the recent new release of JChem v5.0 and Marvin v5.0 we thought it would be appropriate to launch together our new licensing system as well, which will provide a license file in the quality of the license key instead of the formerly used simple string key.
Our aim is to make life easier for our customers and for ourselves by listing and following up on each license issued.
The license files will contain all relevant data regarding license terms in a comprehensive way which is easy to retrieve and understand.
The old license keys for earlier software versions will be executable, however, those who upgrade to JChem v5.0 and Marvin v5.0 and further will need to change their license keys before October 1st 2008.
We have distributed production license keys to all commercial clients and our VAR partners for development purposes only. License keys for evaluation purposes will be available in the normal procedure.
