HiĀ Andrew,
The answer may depend on the actual use.
- The usage of the command-line tool "molconvert" is free of charge, if not used as an integral part of an application.
- If you refer to using the MolConvert option of JChem Web Services then the Marvin JS license alone should be enough. (even without JChem Web Services license)
- If you want to use the MolConverter Java class, then it requires an additional Marvin Beans license.

This is used to generate cached images of the structures to ensure fast access.
We'll investigate further.
