Hi,

I just updated to version 16.9.500.1094 of JChem for Excel and I now get a message that I have no license file. I have re-installed the license and see the message below that my perpetual license that never expires has expired.

Please advise.

Thanks,

David

Hi David,

I have checked your license.

The problem seems to be that your Support Expiration Date is September 1, 2016, which is older than the program version (16.9.5... = Sept 5, 2016).

With perpetual licenses we typically offer 1 year support and version upgrades included.

Paying a yearly maintenance fee ensures you are eligible for further technical support and updates.

In this case we send out a new license file every year, with the Support Expiration Date updated.

Please contact your sales representative if you would like to sign up for maintenance, or if you haven't received your updated license in time.

Otherwise the current license file is still valid without time limit for version 16.8.29 and earlier.

Best regards,

Szilard
