Hello,

I have updated my application for an academic license several times via the ChemAxon website (http://www.chemaxon.com/my-chemaxon/my-academic-license/), but I have not received a response beyond the initial automated message. I also replied directly to acpack _at_ chemaxon.com for more information, but have not received a reply.

I just wanted to see how I should proceed.

Thank you!

Chris

Hi,

I have an academic teaching license listed in My Licenses with an expiration date of 3000-01-01. However, when I install this license in ChamAxon products, the license shows that the status is invalid for every item in the license.

Today, i updated my academic license application and requested both an academic teaching license and an academic research license.

I look forward to news from ChemAxon about the status of my academic teaching and research licenses.

Thank you for your consideration of my application.

Best regards,

Rudy

Hello,

Where is the best place to put the ChemAxon license file in Windows 8.1?

It seems that there are different locations suggested in ChemAxon software.

Thank you for your recommendations about this.

In addition, my academic licenses for teaching and research have expired. I thought that I still had a valid license whose expiration date is 300-01-01, but when I installed it, the items in the products list were all marked as "invalid". Therefore, I have updated my application to apply for renewed academic teaching and research licenses.

Best regards,

Rudy

Hi Rudy,

For desktop machines I suggest to install it via the license manager: https://docs.chemaxon.com/display/licensing/Installing+to+desktops

It will copy the license into the appropriate folder, the chemaxon folder in your home directory.

Hi Peter,

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I use the license manager. I thought that it looked for the file to install. I will look for the chemaxon folder in my home directory and put the license file there.

Hi! I also applied for academic license three days ago but have not heard back. I emailed sales@chemaxon. How long does it take for them to review and approve the application? Thanks so much! My email address is lramos _at_ rockefeller.edu.

Dear Lavoisier,

We always have a peak in applications when a semester is about to start. Sorry about that, we do our best to review your academic application as soon as possible. I truly hope that we can get there in our list today. If not we will ask for your patience for 1-2 more business days.

Apologies for this, and I hope that won't cause you a lot of troubles.
