I tried to test your reaction for Grignard compound addition to carbonyls with your examples on http://www.chemaxon.com/jchem/examples/reactor/jsp/reactants.jsp, and I get this error:

Hi Bob,

We can not reproduce the error.

Did you use the built in "Grignard compound addition to carbonyl compounds" reaction with default settings and default reactants in the JSP example?

Please specify also the operating system and web browser you used.

Yes, I did use the built-in reaction and default settings and examples. Although now, when I go to the same page, I see a very small library from which to choose.

I use Safari 1.3.2 on MacOS 10.3.9.

Perhaps I had been using my browser too long, and if I had quit and restarted, it would have worked fine.

Reactor JSP example does not work correctly with Safari web browser, but with Firefox browser it works fine. Please use Firefox if you work with the JSP example.

We do not plan to fix this error in the near future, because

- Reactor already has a more advanced graphical user interface,

- it works with Firefox.
