maximum no of Fragmnet sets

can u explain what does :"the maximum number of fragment sets to be generated per molecule" means?/

Lets take the molecule ABCD and cut it into peaces.


If the "maximum number of fragments" is 2 then the program will generate the following sets:


A and BCD


AB and CD


ABC and D





Please note, that BC is not generated, because that cleavage would mean 3 fragments which is higher than the limit.





If the "maximum number of fragments sets" is 2 as well, the following output can be expected:


A and BCD


AB and CD

What did fragment set actuaaly mean..is it fragment generated from single moleclule..

I have one more doubt..





in the case of maximum no: of fragments per molecule=2 for ABCD..


then is the output file will have A,BCD,AB,CD,ABC,D as fragments...?
