Create index problem

Hi,





I am totally new to jchem data cartridge for oracle.





We have oracle 9i running on redhat linux. Today, I performed the setup according to www.chemaxon.com's document. When I tried to create index using the documented syntax, I got errors like:











create index jc_idx on hts.molecules(smiles) indextype is jchem.jc_idxtype

ORA-29855: error occurred in the execution of ODCIINDEXCREATE routine


ORA-29532: Java call terminated by uncaught Java exception:

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You probably got a NULL or empty SMILES. Please, upgrade to JChem 3.1.1.
