smarts search problem

using jcsearch 5.5.1

Query 1

$ jcsearch -q 'Nc1cscc1' -s 'c3sc4cccnc4c3' --allHits

    Query has 1 match:

        Match 1:[    7,   8,   3,   2,   1,   9 ]

c1cc2ncccc2s1

Query 2

$ jcsearch -q 'Nccsc' -s 'c3sc4cccnc4c3' --allHits

returns no hits as expected.

 

This could be the same problem as reported by olegursu yesterday?

Yes, this poblem is cearly a bug in the search process. We can reproduce it with the latest version(s). We are investigating the reasons with high priority and get back to you soon.

As you noticed, this must be the same problem as reported by olegursu yesterday. Thank you for reporting another problematic instance.
