After update to IJC 5.6, I am facing the same problem: No valid license found... although valid license is present for JChem Search, Standardizer, and Instant JChem.

Any solution is welcome ...

Hi,

I have split this into a separate topic as the cause may not necessarily be the same, and it may help keeping questions and answers more structured.

Does it happen with any query or with specific ones ?

Could you attach such a query structure in the latter case ?

Best,

Szilard

Update:

May have split the topic too soon.

After a second attempt to reproduce the problem, it seems the cause is the same as here:

https://www.chemaxon.com/forum/ftopic8140.html

It seems to be a JChem Base bug, can be reproduced by:

jcsearch -q "Oc1cccc(c1)-c1ccccc1" DB:<table>

We will investigate further and get back to you soon.

This problem will be fixed in a patch version of JChem and Instant JChem very soon. In the meantime we can provide a temporary license to avoid the problem. If anyone would like such a license please contact:

A 5.6.0.2 patch version of IJC is now available. This fixes this bug in JChem search.
Sorry for any inconveniences.
