JChem 5.5

Thus far I have been using Marvin Sketch 5.5 (for Mac OS X) and some of its calculator plugins for structure drawing, visualization, and rudimentary QSAR work. Now I am interested in learning about cheminformatics tools and more advanced QSAR. What would be the tools to use, and what are the differences between them? For example, what are the relative capabilities of JChem, Instant JChem, and JChem for Excel? Regarding the latter, will JChem for Excel be available for the Mac OS? For each of these programs, are systematic tutorials available? Thank you.

There you will find lots of resources inculding presentation slides, animations, users guides, etc.

 

Unfortunately, JChem for Excel is only available on Windows.
