Jchem cartridge one search per minute, even when licensed

Hello again

I have another problem

Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS release 3 (Taroon)

Kernel 2.4.21-4.ELsmp on an i686

Oracle version 10.1.0

Apache Tomcat/4.1.30

JChem version: 3.0.11

JChem Streams version: 3.0.11

The problem is that when I do a jc_contains search, the first one is OK, but the second one complains

Error on line 0

select t.SMILES from test_mcr t where jchem.jc_contains (t.SMILES, 'NC1=CC2=C(C=

ORA-29902: error in executing ODCIIndexStart() routine

ORA-29532: Java call terminated by uncaught Java exception: java.lang.Exception: The following exception has been thrown by the servlet:

Exception: Maximum number of searches allowed per minute is exceeded. Please try it later.

ORA-06512: at "JCHEM.JC_IDXTYPE_IM", line 158

ORA-06512: at line 1

However, we are licensed. I can see the entries in the jchem.jchemproperties Oracle table, and I have run the jcman.bat utility from my windows machine to the db, which shows the license entries in there.

I have stopped and started the db, as well as tomcat, several times to no avail.

Any suggestions?

Thank you.

Please, make sure the following requirements are met:

(1) The license codes must be entered for each user configured to use JChem Cartridge

(2) Tomcat has to be restarted (or the corresponding JChem Streams context reloaded) for the newly entered license information to take effect.

You are correct. I had only run the jcman utility connected as the jchem owner and not the jchem user.

Thank you

I have yet another problem, but I will start a new thread.
