"SP2-0306: Invalid option. while installing product.

Hi All,





I have installed the oracle 9.2.0.2.0.


Applied patch 9205.





While installing the product , I am getting the following message in the log file :

For first time the product installation was through with Oracle 92040.


I uninstalled the product(application) & Oracle.


Again installed Oracle 92040.


Then tried to install the product (application), at one point the product installation stops without any response.


Checked the log file, got the above information.





As first time I could successfully installed the product, second time product installation fails.





Looks like while installing Oracle something gone wrong. That is why my product(application) installation is failing.


Any pointer to resolve the problem?
