Hello,
JCHEM version 5
Oracle Unbreakable Linux
Java SDK 1.6
I kick off the jcman tool in a terminal, enter the required text and the OK button is not available (a hang is apparent)? Can you please indicate if this is replicatable?
Cheers,
Daniel.

Daniel,
could you send me which X interface do you use? (gnome, kde, ...)
note if you cannot connect in no way with jcman GUI you can use the jcman command line tool.
Sorry for this inconvenience
thanks,
Edvard

Daniel,
It seems that you are running Gnu Java. JChem should only be used with Sun Java. Please add the Sun JRE bin directory to your PATH variable, and it should appear before the Gnu Java.
Best regards,
Szabolcs
