How do I restart the servlet server?

In the JChem manager admin guide, http://www.chemaxon.com/jchem/doc/admin/index.html


there is a recommendation to retart the servlet server.





"After modifying the "JChem license key" field, the application running JChem (in most cases this is a servlet server) has to be restarted. "





How do I do this?

Stop it, then start it again. The point here is that the JChemBase search engine (JChemSearch) needs to be reinitialized (by "servlet server" here the application was meant which contained/used JChemSearch instances) so the new license code is internally used.

It turned out that we have improved the implementation so that the application doesn't have to be restarted after changing the JChem license key. We will update the documentation accordingly.
