Hello,

After updating to Marvin 4.1.2 and JChem 3.2, and then updating the license keys, I get the following error when running jcsearch.
Quote:

chemaxon.marvin.modules.LicenseException: No valid license key has been found.

Please contact sales _at_ chemaxon.com to obtain a license key.

I am not able to update the JChem license key for some reason. My license key file from the Marvin Edit > Preferences > License Key tab looks like this:

HI Renju,

I edited your mail to remove the numeric parts of the license keys you listed - these could have been useful to others ;)

Can I ask if you post keys again not to explicitly list the entire license key and possibly remove the alphanumeric part after the "=" symbol

Cheers / Alex

Hi Renju,

You must be using a target with generic(Markush) features.

We introduced some experimental handling of Markush structures in JChem 3.2, and that release went out accidentally with the feature turned on (but requiring a new license key). I recommend to upgrade to a later JChem version, because from 3.2.1 onward, Markush searching is off by default.

(From 3.2.1, there is also a "--markush:y/n" option for jcsearch to turn this back on.)

This other topic is also concerned with the same problem:

I hope this helps,

(In the meantime, I moved the topic to the Search forum.)
