Alternative to Tibco Spotfire for Integration with ChemAxon?

ChemAxon products can be integrated with Tibco Spotfire for SAR analysis and drug discovery.

I am in academics and do not have a license for Tibco Spotfire. Are there other programs that could be interfaced with ChemAxon software to accomplish similar goals?

For example, my university has academic licenses for JMP Pro, SAS, SPSS, Stata, and Statistica. Would any of these work similarly to Spotfire for ChemAxon applications?

We are sorry but we do not have integration with the tools you mentioned.

What could be interesting for you maybe is KNIME, an open-source platform for data analytics. Our tools are integrated in it and you could combine our Calculator Plugins for descriptor calculation with statistics in it.

Thanks. I will look into KNIME. However, I recall from the ChemAxon presentations posted online that the processes being described involved integration with both, KNIME and Spotfire.

I cannot afford a Spotfire license. In any event, I have done some testing of a free trial of Spotfire. I also tested Tableau, which seems similar to Spotfire. I found that neither one gave me the data analysis and visualization capabilities of a number of other programs for which I have access. These others include JMP Pro, Origin Pro, and Statistica.

I would be interested in comments others might have about using alternatives to Spotfire for integration with ChemAxon.
