MariaDB Compatibility

Hi,

We're looking at switching our systems from MySQL to MariaDB. This is supposed to be a trivial drop-in replacement, but I don't know if this is the case with JChem Base.

Does (or should) JChem Base function fine with MariaDB, and are there any problems we should anticipate moving over to this new system?

We did/do not test JCB with MariaDB, so we have no datum on the compatibility. 

As usual, we are very interested in any finding on this topic, so pleas share your experience with us if you get to try it.

Just FYI for anyone considering this, I have switched to MariaDB 10 and have had no issues so far, just a nice speed increase.

Apologies for the delay in replying. This seems to be working fine for us too. I'll update if anything goes wrong, but it looks to be functioning perfectly well.
