JRockit

Hi,





Just wondered if anyone has used the JRockit JVM from BEA with the JChem cartridge and if so have they seen any performance increases ? We are thinking of trying it here but wondered what other peoples experiences are if any ?

Hi Alistair,





We have not tested JChem Cartridge with JRockit. (Personnally, I do not expect a significant performance advantage in a typical usage scenario.) Note that ChemAxon recommends Sun's JDK 1.4.2+.





BTW, is not JRocket a runtime only software? For Tomcat, I think you also need a java compiler (javac).
