Problem loading a new table via Instant Jchem

Hi,

I did use Instant JChem to create a new table, type JChemBase table with cartridge index, on import of an SDF. The SDF did load properly, browse, sort, filter by any data did work - but I could not search the database by structure.

The table <table name>_UL contains the number of records entered.

A domain index IDX_<table name> has been created.

When I try a jc_compare on the table, I get an error ORA-29902 - No valid license for JChem cartridge. !

Are you sure ? What might be necessary to tell JChem cartridge that there is a valid license ?

Kind regards
Bernd-Juergen

Dear Bernd-Juergen,

Please note that the Cartridge is a separate server process, so you need to install the appropriate licenses both on the Instant JChem and the cartridge side.

Please see the following section of the administration guide on how to install licenses for the cartridge (which seem to be missing in this case):

http://www.chemaxon.com/jchem/doc/admin/cartridge.html#regkey

If you think you have set everything correctly and the license is still not recognized, please send us back the license file (as found on your server) to support _at_ chemaxon.com.

Best Regards,

Szilard
