Hello!
Is it possible to install several (independent) JChem Cartridge instances on the same machine? The version of JChem I use is 5.4.0.1, this version doesn't suggest to choose Windows service name during installation, so the 2nd instance fails to install correctly because of the name conflict. Could you point me to the instructions about how to install several instances or create JChem Windows service with custom name after installation.

Yes, you can install independent JChem Cartridge instances on the same computer.
As for the question of JChem Server windows service, the newer versions of JChem Cartridge - if the question "Do you want to install JChem Server as an operating system service" is answered by "y" during the installation - there comes an option to add custom name to the service "Name of the JChem Server service[JChemCartridgeService]:", which makes possible to add different names to different service instances.
In case of version 5.4.0.1 we recommend to rename the firstly generated JChem Server service in order to avoid the name conflict.
