Using JChem search with Apache Solr?

Has anyone got any experience integrating JChem cartridge search with Apache Solr queries?  We are developing a web app that already has an Apache Solr backend, and now want to integrate structure searching to it.  Is this even possible? Any tips, pitfalls, etc??

Not yet.

Do you want to use Solr as a text search engine and display the found chemical text as molecules? (This would be something similar to chemicalize.org.)

Or integrate Sketch into solr to submit queries and use JChemCartridge as a search engine backend?
