text file import with empty cells

Hi,

When importing a CSV file, where one of the first cells in a column is empty, this column is completely ignored despite column headers being present. If I substitute the top empty cell with 1, everything including empty cells are imported.This is IJC 5.11.1 on Ubuntu, with mySQL-based database.

Is this a mySQL limitation?

Hi, could you please send me a sample of your badly imported data(via e-mail if you prefer)? I tried to import csv file where the values in the first row of several columns were empty. The import proceeded correctly for me. MySQL should not have such a limitation.
