I would like to deploy IJC to multiple users, but I don't want the left navigation pane (project browser) to be visible when they start the application. Is there a way to configure this? I just want the Welcome page to show so that I can give them some instructions and maybe some helpful links.

I'm sorry, but I'm not aware of any way how to hide this window by a JWS startup option. I suppose there is none. It can be made hidden after IJC starts and it stays so after new start.

There are options for specifying a particular form of screen to show at startup and to open this maximised. This might be what you need. See the ijc.startup.window and ijc.maximize.window options specified here:
