The unlicensed version of Instant JChem does not let you create new
tables - only manage existing tables and data.

You need to obtain a license.

IJC standard will let you use local databases.

IJC enterprise will let you use MySQL or Oracle databases on the
network.

If you are an academic you may be entitled to a free license under
the terms of the academic package.

The free (unlicensed) version is designed for viewing data that has been prepared for you by someone else.

A likley scenario would be for a compary to prepare data for their customers to view. They would provide a project containing the data and the customers could view this without the need to purchase andy licenses.

If you want to prepare and manage data yourself then you need a licensed version.
