Design Mode

instant jchem 5.4 on macos 10.6:

I am unable to display "Design Mode" in my menu bar or view pull down menu (it is dimmed); what is the way to activate this function? Query and Browse work fine.

There is no reason why design mode should be disabled. For forms it should always be enabled.

Can you give us more information?
- is it disabled for all forms (e.g. if you create a new form)
- is it disabled if you create a new project with the demo data and open one of the forms?

I created a new project and uploaded data, and indeed I can now generate a new form that has the design mode enabled. I will recreate my older, apparently bugged, project.
