Hi,
Just wanted to let you know that I experienced large improvement with regard to querying speed, after upgrading to IJC 2.4. Complicated queries in databases with > 2 miljon cpds only take a few seconds now, as opposed to minutes previously.
keep up the good work!

Thank you for the comment.
There were improvments to the handling of very large databases in IJC 2.4.
Current developments should improve this further in the future.

Hello,
I agree, the new Instant JChem 2.4 is indeed a treat. I did some quick tests
with a 2.8 million compound set and "real-time" is the word. Its very fast and
responsive to work with.
I hope you guys can keep-up the good work and fulfill the many wishes
(pictures, HTTP links, spectra) people had :-)
Cheers
Tobias

Thanks for the feedback.
Much work continues on the infrastrucutre that should result in further improvements in scaleability.
In the next major version we hope to have an initial version of handling images, URLs etc.

We can't give precise timings but we are hoping it will be ready by around the end of Q1 next year.
