Thanks,

We don't currently have any specific support for barcodes.

You can of course handle a barcode as a text field, and should be able to use a barcode scanner to enter the values.

We do plan to add the ability to render a barcode in its graphical form, but don't have a apecific timeframe for this.

No, I'm afraid there's no progress on this yet.

Thanks for the fast response.

Are you planning to create such a tool?

And next to that, is there a tool dealing with danger symbols as well as risk and safety statements which can be added to each chemical in the database?

Thanks.

Yes we do hope to add support for displaying barcodes. We just haven't had time to do so.

Are you meaning to display a graphic of the danger symbol for each compound?
If that information was in the database (e.g. as an additional column) then there are ways that an image could be displayed. Probably using a dynamic URL field would be the simplest approach.

We can't of course generate the safety data. That would need to be already present.
