Version control for IJchem table upgrades?

Hi,


I had now several table upgrades since the first Instant-JChem versions.


I usually backup my databases by ZIPping the whole folder and using


it later. Is there a good chance that the stable Instant-JChem versions can always control those old tables or should I always backup with SDF export?

Generally the latest version should be able to upgrade old databases, but you should not rely on this working for very old versions.


For instance, support for converting databases created in IJC 1.0 is not now supported.


You would always be able to re-install an older version of IJC which would allow you to access old data, so just zipping up the project folder should be sufficient.
