relations between db fields??

I have a problem. For ex. i have 3 different fields (for ex. integer or real type). I would like to have the sum of these in a new field, named for ex. Sum of amount. How can i manage it?

IJC doesn't currently do this, but it is high on our to do list.


We plan to add a new "calculated field" type that automatically generates values such as this, so that they are automatically generated whenever a row is updated or a new row is added.





Currently your only option would be to export the relevent data, calculate the values in some external program, and then re-import the data.
