Fixing a corrupted IJC local database

Hi,

Is there a way to repair an IJC database (local) that appears to have been corrupted. I built one last night, with 2 chemistry tables and 1 standard data table, with relationships, etc all sorted. The machine that it was built on is rsync'd each night and I'm now trying to open the database on the mirrored server. When I open, nothing appears...? However, look in the \.config\localdb\db\seg0 folder and all the data is there (and lots of it too!).

Cheers,

A.

Any ideas what went wrong in the sync process?

The local db contents are completely self contained within the project directory and you should be able to take an identical copy of this complete directory and transfer to another machine of the same type (windows to windows etc).

You may get an idea of what is wrong by looking at the log file.

On Windows this will be somewhere like

<home dir>\Application Data\.instantjchem\ijc_2_0_dev\var\log\messages.log
