Hi,
On a mySQL-based system, it seems that regular users with roles ROLE_USER and ROLE_EDIT_DATA cannot copy data from grid views into f.e. Excel, the copy/paste icons are greyed out. This definitely worked before we upgraded to IJC 16.3.28.
Furthermore users cannot edit lists which they create themselves either, which is strange.
Copy/paste still works for local Derby-type databases, as well as editing of lists.
Have you made any changes to how permissions have to be set in order to be able to do certain tasks? I have not made any changes on the mySQL side since the upgrade to 16.3.28.
Please advice!
Thx/Evert

Looks like ROLE_EXPORT_DATA is required to have copy/paste and list editing permissions...

Dear Evert,
you are correct, since version 15.10.5.0 we have upgraded the security by introduction of new user roles, one of them being ROLE_EXPORT_DATA which controls all the options of exporting, printing or similar including the list management. The release notes for the 15.10.5.0 version can be found here. The IJC documentation should be up to date with these changes.
Best regards,
Karla

Thank you for your response. It is difficult to stay informed on new feautures/enhancements with the weekly updates. I am in strong favor of having only 4 mayor feature releases per year, as is the case with many other software programs.
