Share field issue

Hi,

I added a calculated field to a table, and now when I share a grid view a message comes up stating that one of the fields is not shared. I tick the 'Share selected field(s)' box and save.

When I then open the shared grid view as a regular user, I get an error message in the text port, and the Calculated Field is missing from the Grid. I can add it from the Column Manager, but then I need to create a copy of the grid view.

How can I get rid of this error message? Are Calculated Fields not compatible with sharing views? I deleted the Calculated Field first, then the Data Tree, recreated everything but it does not make a difference.

calculated field is a personal item similarly to a view. Other users can see the calculated field only if you are sharing it - it can be done either in field browser, or in your case by selecting the " Share selected field(s)" checkbox in the form sharing window.

I could fix the problem by first sharing the calculated field from the field browser.
