mass-promoting multiple fields in views

Hi.

For a customer i created 10 views each in 2 databases, each of them having around 15 to 20 fields.

To promote the fields i have to go through all of them one by one, clickedy click click enter.

Please PLEASE make a mass-promote thing, where i can select a range of fields and accept the dangers of promoting them with the default options.

Hi Ellert, I agree that having to promote multiple tables/views with many columns can be a tedious task. We have the 'bulk promote' feature on the todo list, but there have always been more important fetaures or bugfixes then this one.

If this is a repeating task for you then I think a groovy script could be of a great help. For example you could pre-code the promotion in that script and then run it in different databases.
