Hi,
Is there an easy way to copy the security settings from one schema to another, when using the IJC database to store users, passwords and roles?
Thanks,
Evert

Dear Evert,
you can copy the security template that you edit here. This would however mean that you would have to recreate the users in the new schema too. Better way would be using the Admin Tool, which can be used to migrate the security settings too. See the complete documentation here and specifically about security migration here.
I hope this helps

It's a bit unclear to me if the Admin tool can be used to clone security settings for schemas from different connections. Or is it limited to schemas within the same connection?. I can only select one connection at a time in the top window of the Admin tool.
Thanks,
Evert

Hi Evert,
it is limited only for one connection, however if you go to schema editor of schema from which you want to copy security:
right click > edit schema > security > edit > copy to file.xml and then by admintool manage schema security upload this file.xml
Hope it is clear and helps
